Most job scams share the same tells. Check any listing against these seven before you send anything.
- Pay that's far above normal for the work — especially for data entry or "no experience needed" roles
- No company name, website, or physical address — or a free email address like @gmail.com
- Contact moves quickly to WhatsApp, Telegram or text
- An offer without a real interview
- Any fee: training, starter kits, background checks, equipment
- Early requests for your ID, Social Security number, or bank login
- Pressure to decide fast or keep the job secret
One flag on its own isn't proof. Several together are a strong reason to stop and verify. You can paste the listing into our checker for a second opinion.
